Here is my experiment with Google Docs. (12/30/08)

Beef Stroganoff

1. 8 oz carton reduced-fat sour cream

2. 3 tablespoons no salt-added tomato paste

3. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

4. ½ cup flour

5. 1 teaspoon salt

6. ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

7. 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into thin strips

8. 1 tablespoon butter

9. ½ cup chopped onion

10. 1 can less-sodium beef broth

11. 2 cups sliced mushrooms

12. chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Combine the first 3 ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.

Brown beef. Set aside.

Sauté onion.

Add beef to onion.

Add broth and mushrooms. Cover and cook until mushrooms are tender.

Reduce heat to low. Add flour mixed with a little water. Gradually stir in sour cream mixture. Cook, uncovered, 1 minute or until headed. Do not boil.

Stir in parsley, if desired.

Week Three - Flickr (#5)

I've been exploring Flickr - what a great program. As you might have guessed I am from Australia. I found this wonderful photo of Perth's city skyline by night. The photo is titled "Swan Mirror" - an apt description of the city being reflected in the waters of the Swan River.
Now that I have my very own personal blog I can begin recording my thoughts and discoveries as I go through the exercises provided by CSLA for Web 2.0.
Well here it is, Sunday evening, and I've been exploring Blogger. I've created an avatar through http://avatars.yahoo.com/ Creating an avatar was similar to the process one goes through when entering the SLIS site in Second Life - fun.
